uh-oh, please don't let this be the start of another bootleg debate, but simply
put: i watched the oasis album get round the world in two days on napster. i
watched bootlegs of tigermilk halve it's potential. i've watched people pay over
the top prices for poor quality recordings of live gigs (when they should be
trading them for free with other kids if they're gonna do it at all). and, well, i
just don't want to watch the new album be totally fucked over by people sending it
over napster before it's released.
hmmm, no matter what is said in response to this, i'm leaving it there, not fair i
know, but i'm busy and don't need to enter into another bootleg squabble on the
net (god there are already enough).
hope this doesn't make me sound too jaded with either people or technology, i love
the majority of both, really i do.
