thunderstorms are definitely a good thing. when a lightning bolt from a
thunderstorm strikes, the bolt releases O-3, or ozone. the ozone emitted is
the same thing that the widely discussed ozone layer is made up of. so i
guess you could say that thunderstorms "patch up" the deteriorating ozone
layer. i don't understand why somebody doesn't just zap the entire
atmosphere with electricity and end the issue...
