sounds like everyone is having a pretty good summer as far as music goes. I am thinking perhaps now is the time to get out from under my rock and do something other than a) look for a job b) look for other musicians c) look for a job with other musicians... I have to say though, times like these (at least for me) are a good time for the RELIABLES: Summerteeth- Wilco The Days of Our Nights- Luna Stoned and Dethroned- Jesus and Mary Chain The Boy With the Arab Strap- B&S Lost and Gone Forever- Guster hope for a third weezer album I am definitely looking outside of the States for music nowadays. I get so frustrated with the nuevo-metal (AKA hairbands all over again!) that I am starting to lean johnnycomelately towards The Beta Band, and Stereolab. any ideas? matt PS if anyone sees my friend Beth Pritchford wandering around Scotland tell her I said hello. She'll be the American that's in somehow with people who know Belle and Sebastian. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +-------------------- new york, london, paris, tokyo ----------------+ +------------------ everybody talk about... popjourno! -------------+ +------------------- http://www.pulped.co.uk/popjourno --------------+ +--------- to send a message to the list, please address it to ------+ +----------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------+ +--------- declarations of love, presents, and otherwise saucy ------+ +-------- e-correspondence should be sent directly to the list ------+ +------------------- mummy at [EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------+ +------------- popjourno currently has over 150 subscribers ---------+ +------------------------ (most of them lurkers). -------------------+ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
