oops i cant read.
im more familiar with portland, so heres a few ideas
for that area. first let me say that if you plan on
doing any record shopping while youre there, you have
to check out 2nd avenue records. its on second avenue
downtown.. imagine that. they pretty much only sell
vinyl, but they do have some cds and posters and stuff
like that.. unless its changed since ive been there. i
spent $300 the first time i went in there, so that
pretty much says it all. the portland art museum is
supposed to be alright, but the few times i went there
i couldnt find anything other than the special
exhibition galleries...maybe im retarded though, im
sure theres a lot more to it. the northwest film
center shows independent films at the guild theater,
im not sure if theres anything good playing now
though. nw 21st and 23rd are good if you wanna just
walk around, theres a lot of shops and junk like that.
dont be fooled by the place that claims to have the
largest yo-yo collection, its not that impressive. if
you go up to that area, you have to eat at this place
called miso hapi, i promise you will thank me, its the
best food ive ever eaten. huge portions and not that
expensive. and they have good sake. yum. i was 20 when
i lived there so im not toooo sure about bars, but you
could try the matador on west burnside, my roommate
liked it a lot. theres a lot of galleries, but i cant
remember the names of any of them so youll have to
research that one. well, im drawing a blank from
there, its been a while. i hope i was a little
