Well done, Chikaskia!

Being too scared myself I was just waiting for someone to open that old door and see
if it's safe to enter!

How is everybody?

I really enjoy the first days of autumn here in the northern hemisphere. The summer
was brilliant - but now it's time for walks in the rain and reading a good book while
sitting in a cozy little cafe, sipping green tea again.

Any recommendations for a good read anyone? Something new perhaps? I must admit that I
read all four Harry-Potter-Books this summer. I just started the first one because I
hate it when everybody talks about something and I have no idea what they're going on
about. In fact I hoped I could just file it under "stupid mass phenomenon without any
substance". But then I actually liked the books - and I really like the idea of kids
reading this kind of stuff instead of playing Pokemon.

Change of subject: Here's my soundtrack for the now gone summer...

1. Baxendale: Music for Girls
2. Belle and Sebastian: I Fought in a War
3. Looper: Mondo 77
4. Sportfreunde Stiller: Wellenreiten 54
5. My Life Story: Girl Thing
6. Baxendale: Hanging Out With Her
7. Bis: How Can We Be Strange
8. Neutral Milk Hotel: In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

... which was on non-stop rotation in my car cd player during my the summer holidays
in southern england (london, brighton, eastbourne).

What have all of you been up to? I bet there's so much to share after all these
months!!!

Michael

<chikaskia steps across the squeaky, loose floorboards of the old popjourno
mansion, far up tea kettle lane. pushing on the massive front door, it
slowly creeeaks open. mice and crickets skittle as he steps inside.
