Hmm, why don't you just post patches (or the whole code) on your
website for everyone to look at? I would certainly like to incorporate
the improvements into Sumatra even if they don't get incorporated into
poppler or xpdf. I don't think GPL prevents you from doing that. All
it says that if you publish the binary, you have to publish sources
under GPL.
