Hi Albert,
I am organizing the OpenPrinting Summit on May 14-17, 2013 [1] as
part of the OpenPrinting initiative of the Linux Foundation [3] and I am
inviting you to participate. The Summit will take place at Apple in
Cupertino, CA, together with the May 2013 PWG (Printing Working
Group[8]) Meeting [5].
As with the previous Printing Summits [4] this will be a meeting of free
software developers for printing infrastructure, drivers, renderers
(GhostScript, Poppler, MuPDF, ...), document-producing applications,
desktop environments, Open Source Operating Systems (Linux, *BSD,
OpenSolaris, ...), Linux distributions, printer manufacturers, the
OpenPrinting workgroup, and the PWG. It will be continued to discuss
about how to make printing with free software easier and better, so that
it "just works".

subscribe to the event mailing list [2]. We use this list to discuss
agenda, topics, and logistics of the event. Note that important
announcements, like for example changes of call-in numbers, will be done
only on this list.
Feel free to post your suggestions on the mailing list and to edit the
Wiki pages.
Please tell also (by e-mail) whether you need sponsorship, and/or an
official invitation letter for a visa.
Also create an account on the Wiki of the Linux Foundation (click link
in upper-right corner of the event Wiki page [1]) and then add yourself
to the participant list.
Please participate in the OpenPrinting phone meetings before the Summit
and tell us your ideas or get your questions answered. See the schedules
on [1], section "Preparation conference calls".
