RedHat Enterprise Linux installs pdfimages in /usr/bin. Use the command "sudo yum provides /usr/bin/pdfimages"
CentOS 6.6 includes it in the package poppler-utils-0.12.4-3.el6_0.1.x86_64 CentOS 3.9 includes it in the package xpdf.i386 1:2.02-19.el3 From: [email protected] Date: Thu, 12 Mar 2015 10:20:09 +0530 To: [email protected] Subject: [poppler] Proppler-Util support for Redhat based servers. Hi All, I am not sure whether this is the correct place to raise this question, so I highly value if you can direct me to proper place. I just wanted to know whether the command "pdfimages" which comes with poppler-utils, is available in Redhat based servers by default? Or should it be installed manually? I am developing a PHP application which makes use of this command. As I am going to host it in a Redhat based server I have to make sure whether it supports or not.
