Sorry, backend -- of course, brain/keyboard disconnect. Yes, for some things it does better, but I found it positions small items more precisely than splash and have been using it, so just wanted to confirm (that whole music note-on-staff correspondence from some time ago).

Arthur is available though the qt4 and qt5 frontends. In my opinion you should not be using Arthur though, my understanding is that the rendering is noticeably worse than splash.
