The office is a little far from Portland, but I can attest to it being a
great company dedicated to open source software and it is completely
focused on python :)

It is not unusual for people at Red Hat to work remotely (there are a
few of us here in Portland), but I am not sure what the requirements are
for this particular position and whether they would consider a remotee.
It never hurts to apply if you are qualified and interested.
