It's a great way to meet local practitioners and have focused discussions of interesting issues. It's also a good example of successful self- organization -- it's a completely Open Space conference, with no pre- scheduling of sessions. It alternates between Portland and Seattle, and this is Seattle's year. Registration is still open: http://www.agileopennorthwest.com/2010/index.php Agile 2010 ("big Agile") is in Tennessee in August. This is the biggest agile software development conference around. It attracts an international audience with a huge range of viewpoints and experience.
