Summary
We are hiring several Python developers for our platform engineering team
to work on our backend services and REST API.
Requirements
We are looking for either senior-level developers, or very smart
entry-level developers with some experience delivering production code;
proficient in Python or in another high-level dynamic language; proficient
with Linux, SQL databases, and REST API’s.
The Position
This is a salaried position, on-site in our Portland office, and includes
health insurance, holidays, and unlimited vacation.
The Team
Our platform team currently consists of three senior-level developers. The
backend code is almost entirely in Python; we write automated tests and
code review all our commits.
The Company
We are a 4-yr-old, well-funded, revenue-generating startup that is
growing. We have 14 employees in the Portland office and 27 employees
total. In addition to our platform team, we have 7 other engineers that
work on the front-end web app, DevOps, iOS, and Machine Learning. Our
Portland office is located just across the river from downtown.
