Nice! Didn't know that was there.

At the lower level (i.e. Arduino tinkering), how about an in-town (especially SW or NW) bricky place for a handful of potentiometers, resistors, and a 555 timer or two? Any favorites?

There is a Fry's in Wilsonville, OR, about a 20-minute drive from Portland.

They have a store. Lots of power supplies for old Ubuntu Dells (what I

Glitzy new stuff is a different matter. I'm a sucker for mail order.

I'd like to know if you recommend a brick-and-mortar computer store in
Portland, like Microcenter in Cambridge, MA. or Fry's, with more computer
hardware options than a Best Buy, and which also sells barebones and
accessories such as KVMs etc.

I have been very happy with my experiences at ENU, Inc. on NE 122nd Ave,
just north of Sandy Blve.
