I will try to unify all this shared vs. static and gtk bs. no-gtk
weirdness when the next official ghostscript release happens (which
may be the first release where an ls(1) in the src directory doesn't
fill up an xterm with the `unreadable' font running on a 19" display).

If anyone needs evince (and thus libspectre and ghostscript with
libgs) on vax or m88k, please send a keg of tasty beer (20 liters
at a minimum) to my office. (send me an email for shipping details)

Ciao,
        Kili
