ok, we already stated that none of the porters use defaults. we already
stated than anything was better than cat/port/w-*. good luck convicing
others to use /usr/pobj as a system default. You can read your mail
archive for the relevant discussion, there's no need to argue for it
here.
oh, and i don't like ${PORTSDIR}/pobj either.
