oh, i've just seen this # Yes, autoconf is called *during* the build but not at configure time... ugh. This might mean the environment/parameters aren't setup correctly, or it might be something else. I'm just reporting the error, I don't really want to untangle their strange build system, maybe someone else has an idea though.
