There are way more important things to backport to -stable... and
william@ is alone for this task.

according to faq5 :
-stable: Release, plus patches considered critical to security and
reliability.

I hardly see those as security fixes, nor reliability.
Moreover, if you want them, they are quite easy to backport manually.
