While here:
- order WANTLIB
- drop -g from CFLAGS, which is covered in DEBUG
Discussed offlist with gonzalo@ (MAINTAINER) who responded with "I think
we still need to push this upstream, BUT go ahead with the commit for
now, and then we can delete the patches."
