I'm experiencing the exact same issue on a multiple machines (all same
sw configuration) and I would be interested to know how did you resolve
this issue?

Issue:
I'm not using "Desktop Environment" on my FreeBSD but rather "Window
Manager" called windowmaker.
After fresh install nextcloudclient starts as expected and performs the
initial sync.
After the initial sync nextcloudclient disconnects and is unable to find
the host trowing error messages listed below.
Configuration:
FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE
nextcloudclient-3.3.5 NextCloud Desktop Syncing Client
windowmaker-0.95.9_1 GNUstep-compliant NeXTstep window manager
