I've considered that.For some reasons (internal packages with dependencies, Salt states, differences between machines, etc...) it will be more of an hussle than recompiling the kernel.
Rust is a huge beast so enforcing it on clamav will likely stop myself using clamav then.
I had that temptation too, but unless someone forks that, what alternative exists?
