What can cause this, and how to fix ? This is FreeBSD 13.5-STABLE,
with HEAD ports tree

I've been warned that perl5-5.40 embeds a newer version of Time::Hires.
So, removing the (now obsolete) port p5-Time-HiRes fixed the problem
