There are several reasons why diffs aren't committed.
Sometimes diffs just aren't picked up, sometimes they are low-quality,
sometimes they are obsolete because a developer is working on a
diffrent solution to the problem...
A large fraction of the diffs posted here are from developers. Kurt
is a developer. He asked the community to test, but got no response.
In general a diff that has not been tested, will not gett committed.
This is especially true for the stable branches.
I think that a lot of developes (me including) have the same feelings
as Kurt. It is hard to get test reports, while at the same time people
do complain a lot about outdated ports, for example.
