ports writeup, too hidden!

I was trying to find the writeup on the ports mechanism, and I finally 
found  it, but the path that I had to take, to find it, was 
embarrassingly long.  SDomething that key really ought to have a place 
of importance, right up there on the main web page, not even one step 
away.  Instead, to find tjhe page, first you need to access the ports(7) 
man  page, and in the man page are a couple of URLs, one of which is the 
one I'm talking about,

Really, this page should NOT be so hidden, don't you agree?  Or, is 
there a more direct route to it that I didn't see?
