So according to this, you uninstalled curl-old, which also uninstalled clamav-old, then installed curl-new, and tried to install clamav-old? If that's the case, I'm guessing clamav-old depended on the curl.2.2 library from curl-old, which probably got updated to curl.4.8 or something. Try rebuilding clamav? -Ray-
