could you be more specific? never heard 'bout someone rewriting php pages "for" apache2 to apache1 php is transparent. there is no difference in apache1 and apache2 when it comes to php, except maybe performance. (but an apache2 port with all the dependencies would be nice though :) -f -- i am not a complete idiot. some parts are missing.
