Sure, I'll do what I can--I don't code, but I hope to change that at some point--to help. Not being able to build the packages that depend on GStreamer is driving me crazy. Do you need to retain the earlier version of gstreamer/packages for compatability? It would be great if it could be superceded with the new one, as that seems to take no porting whatsoever.
