Hi,
I attached a simple patch to update Gajim to version 0.11.1
Changelog is available here:

Running it here without problems since ~1 week on i386.
BTW: if someone sees the benefits of DBus support, this could be easily
enabled now that the python dbus bindings are in the tree.
