I would, Naddy, If I knew what to fix. I was able to get amd64 working by adding -fPIC. But that's because I was able to see the specific error messages, and make the correction myself. I don't have an alpha box, and I haven't seen a report from you until now. Has your report provided me enough information to "fix the code" or even to contact the developer for assistance?
