generally yes. you need to be careful with: - ports providing libraries. changes that require library version number bumps can't normally be done in -stable. - ports with tight dependency restrictions unless you can check that the versions in -stable are valid. (Firefox is one such port, but I think that seeing as firefox-esr in 7.0-stable is the same branch as used by TB 11, that's likely to be ok). > ML? or maybe I missed related documents on this topic? no specific docs. while there are docs covering some areas, a lot about porting practice is learned / asked (oral culture).
