Hi,
I've just installed Gnome 2.18 and I have some problem with the keyboard
layout settings not being respected. The keyboard preferences and the
keyboard indicator says 'Sweden' but when I'm typing (in e.g. terminal or
addressbar in file browser) it is the "U.S. English" keyboard layout that is
used.
When booting the machine the keyboard mapping is set to 'sv', and even
though special swedish signs only can be entered at the login prompt and not
after, all the other signs are where I expect them to be when typing in ttyC0.
