I wouldn't miss qemu on powerpc, because I suspect that my old
powerpc Macs are too slow.  (The last macppc models are from 2005.)
When I last used qemu, I ran it on my fast amd64, and its BSD guest
still felt slow.  Also, my powerpcs have smaller disks with less room
for qemu's disk images.

qemu on powerpc might still be good for running DOS, but I haven't
tried it.  I would try dosbox before qemu.
