renpy has been marked broken for over a year and is the only consumer of the (py2-only) pygame_sdl2 port.
If someone would like to keep it please could you update to a recent upstream version, switching to py3. It's adding no value to the tree to keep this in the current state so otherwise I intend to remove it.
