Hey guys!

I need some guidance. I was unsuccesful to contact the Maintainer
of the ports cad/abc and cad/yosys. And now I am thinking of
creating replacements.

However, I am concerned that it might come of as rude, to just
take over from him?

A little bit of context: I like designing FPGAs. For this, there is a
promising collection of OSS tools available, but they are not
fully part of the OpenBSD ports collection (yet):

abc, yosys, prjpeppercorn, nextpnr and openfpgaloader.

Thanks to Stu, I have almost finished my work on three ports:

cad/prjpeppercorn
cad/nextpnr
cad/openfpgaloader

(See my other mails for the packages to the ports/  repo. They are
waiting for your approval. Or not.)

cad/abc and cad/yosys are already part of the ports tree, but...
they are rather outdated.

Before I can turn my OpenBSD machine into an FPGA-Designing
powerhouse, I need them in an updated version.

And looking at the state of said ports... Well... It would be more than
just a 3-line patch... I am afraid that I would have to build them
from the ground up.
