May be I'm doing something wrong.  After doing the following:

 1.  I updated port sources.

 2.  Deleted installed libplacebo and mpv packages.

 3.  Recompiled and installed libplacebo (downgraded version).

 4.  Idem with mpv.


I get this:

  $ mpv video.mkv
  * Video  --vid=1               (hevc 1920x1080 50 fps)
  * Audio  --aid=1  --alang=eng  (aac 2ch 48000 Hz)
  mpv:mpv: undefined symbol 'pl_log_create_365'
  ld.so: mpv: lazy binding failed!
  Killed
  $
