Hello,

as mentioned in my earlier email, this depends on sysutils/auto-admin
at runtime.

/usr/ports/sysutils/desktop-installer git:(master) $ make show=COMMENT
Quickly configure a OpenBSD desktop system
/usr/ports/sysutils/desktop-installer git:(master) $ cat pkg/DESCR
Desktop-installer is a post-install script to assist in setting up a
OpenBSD desktop system using any desktop environment or window manager
available in binary packages. It automatically installs essential
software and configures subsystems such as dbus, etc. for typical use.

Comments, questions, concerns, nits, OKs welcome.

Attached is the port as a tarball.

Thanks,

I was able to build both desktop-installer on 7.9 with no issues. Installed Lumina, MATE and a custom window manager, all good. The only thing is placing xsession in root, not in user folder, for first time installation it is okay, but if someone would like to change DE/WM, they might be surprised.
