I don't have strong opinions, but overall lean towards avoiding trailing whitespace even in this situation. I think this empty line could be removed; it doesn't add much to readability IMO. When I started gameplay, I was surprised at the very zoomed out view on my 1440p monitor. It took me a bit to figure out I can press 'Z' to zoom in at a level that I'm much more used to with Diablo. ok thfr@ either way with or without removing the whitespace issue.
