Hello,
Please find attached a patch that updates the multimedia/mat2 port from
version 0.13.4 to 0.15.0.
The upstream changelog and full list of changes are available at:
https://github.com/jvoisin/mat2/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md
https://github.com/jvoisin/mat2/compare/0.13.4...0.15.0
In short, the changes since 0.13.4 include improved support for modern
Python versions, MS Office documents, EPUB, ODT, and unusual PDF
filenames. Support for WebP, AVIF, and JPEG XL files has also been
added.
The update improves audio metadata cleaning by removing appended APEv2
and ID3v1 tags from MP3, OGG, and FLAC files. It also preserves the PDF
version of cleaned files and avoids reordering elements in Office
documents, improving compatibility with Microsoft Office.
Upstream removed Bubblewrap sandboxing in 0.14.0 and removed setup.py in
0.15.0 in favor of fully using pyproject.toml. The release also adds
integration with the Nemo file manager and includes various reliability,
performance, and compatibility improvements.
For the port, I added graphics/py-cairo to RUN_DEPENDS and regenerated
distinfo for the new source archive.
I also updated the package list for the upstream changes. The removed
libmat2/bubblewrap.py module and its bytecode files were dropped, and
the new man page installation layout and packaged documentation were
added.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
David.
