>From pkg/DESCR:

"Weston is the reference implementation of a Wayland compositor. It is a
lean, fast compositor with a modular architecture supporting multiple
backends (X11, Wayland, headless) and a plugin-based shell interface. It
includes a set of demo and test clients demonstrating the Wayland
protocol, as well as XWayland support for running X11 applications."

ok to import?

I was able to launch it from within sway/foot with:

        "weston --backend=wayland"

There were a number of Linux portability issues to grind through, but in
the end it wasn't too bad.

If someone has the energy to push the portability fixes upstream that
might be helpful.
