I have a rule of thumb, that if a package ever crashes for anyone
for any reason, the port should set DEBUG_PACKAGES=${BUILD_PACKAGES},
even if the problem is fixed, because it will probably crash again
someday and it would be better for the user to not have to recompile
to get a backtrace.
Especially those poor macppc users! ;)
