Hello,

I am the maintainer of xhidecursor (https://github.com/astier/xhidecursor), a
minimal X11 utility that hides the cursor on key presses and shows it again on
mouse movement. It prioritizes a simple implementation and efficient event
processing, ignoring redundant input events.

It is already available for Arch Linux through the AUR
(https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xhidecursor), Void Linux
(https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/blob/master/srcpkgs/xhidecursor/template),
 and Slackware through SlackBuilds.org
(https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/misc/xhidecursor/).

Over the last two releases, I’ve worked on OpenBSD portability by improving the
Makefile, and added OpenBSD pledge() support.

Would anyone be interested in creating and maintaining an OpenBSD port? I don’t
use OpenBSD and cannot take on testing or port maintenance myself.

Best regards,
Aleksandrs Stier
