Vlc always performs badly for me, with audio and video skipping :( I could be convinced to try it, but last time i check i couldnt find: * an alternative to mplayers -cache (i play off a slow NFS share quite often) * an alternative to mplayers -framedrop * an alternative to mplayers -autosync (otherwise sound is off and video is jerky) Thanks -- Best Regards Edd http://students.dec.bournemouth.ac.uk/ebarrett
