completely UNSUPPORTED manner I tried building the -current 5.4.2p1 port

I don't care at all. I'm also running clamav and amavisd-new from current and did so since the stable ports are not maintained/updated anymore. :)

on my 4.4-stable box.  Initial results are promising.  I'll try
monitoring it for the day and see what happens.
