I believe this is a gstreamer bug. Make sure esd is running and choose it as sound backend for now. For some reason, the sndio gstreamer backend does not appear in the choices. This is not ekiga related, I've seen this is other gst apps too but I didn't have the time to look into it yet. It is on my todo list though... Cheers! -- Antoine
