well, I've tried updating gstreamer and then gnash, but flex in base
needs to be updated first.

I offered an easier solution to play youtube videos.  and I even
specifically said "if all you want is to play youtube videos".

I asked if nspluginwrapper works on amd64.

who's ditching (I think you wanted 'dissing') anything?
