Hi all,

Gecko Media Player is a browser plugin that uses GNOME MPlayer to play
media in a browser.
It should work with all browsers on Unix-like systems (Linux, BSD, and
Solaris) that use the
NS4 API (Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, etc.).

It replaces mplayerplug-in by the same author.

mplayerplug-in is in abandoned state since some years and very buggy too.
Try, for example, to close the firefox tab while watching a video: it
will hang the whole firefox instance.

Please test and comment if you want (and, eventually, commit)

ciao,
david
