Hello [email protected]. See the bugreport https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495637 for a strange thing I noticed. But the Linux binary available from mozilla.org does not behave like this. I found the workaround in a web-forum [http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?locale=is&comments_parentId=73534&forumId=1] and there was no mention of OpenBSD. So I believed this bug is not dependent on system. Another web-site that will show the bug is https://blog.fefe.de. What it has in common with https://www.mirbsd.org is they have a cacert.org certificate.
Thank you for your great work on the firefox port. I guess it was painful. It seems hopeless to try to have exactly the same behavior like some binary. Maybe the source has a little difference or they have a special build environment. This is acknowledged with refreshing honesty by Mr Volkerding [http://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/slackware/slackware-12.2/patches/source/mozilla-firefox/mozilla-firefox.SlackBuild]. Best regards, Nicolas
