My azalia laptop is broken atm, so i can't debug this right now, sorry. This is most probably a fallout of gstreamer-* update.. do you have other controls available if you click the 'controls' button at the bottom left of xfce4-mixer ? What gstreamer-* packages do you have installed ? landry
