I just updated to the most recent amd64 snap (Dec 26) and pkgs and
noticed that mplayer and devede have been updated. Thus, I now have the
following:

montagueneal pkg_info | grep mpla
mplayer-20090708p3 movie player supporting MPEG, DivX, AVI, ASF, MOV &

montagueneal pkg_info | grep devede
devede-3.15.0p0 video DVDs and CDs creation tool

I'm not sure if those updates were intended to fix the problems I
happened to have.

I still get the same errors at the same times as before, which are
posted below.

This certainly is not the end of my world, but I thought I'd drop a
line. Let me know if there is anything you need me to provide.
