what do you mean by no?  i see ports that do exactly that..

i know it's an extension of X11, but e.g.

$ ldconfig -r |grep Xinerama
        145:-lXinerama.5.0 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXinerama.so.5.0

but there is library called exactly Xtest.
so it will be perhaps under some other name?
