plus, vlc uses an older version of ffmpeg (the ffmpeg port) than mplayer (which has it's own ffmpeg sources), so there may be some formats that vlc "needs" win32-codecs for that mplayer can handle without them. -- [email protected] SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
